You will always pick up your shares at the same location. We are adding new pick-up locations, so if we add one that’s more convenient for you, you can change your pick-up location up until May 1. For security we don’t display the exact address of many of the pickup locations. You will get that in an email when you join.
If you experience any difficulties with our online sign-up system, please call Dan 202 375-3274 or Erin 301 438-3927.
We have really enjoyed our veggies, especially the ones we have never tried before. Love how fresh everything is and am amazed at the shelf life compared to supermarkets. — Betty
Vegetable shares
Lancaster Farm Fresh Cooperative (LFFC) will provide the same high quality Certified-Organic vegetables (7-10 items per box). There may be occasional fruit in the vegetable share, e.g 2-3 times over the season. To see lists and photos of 2011 share contents, click here.
25 weekly deliveries at $30.72/week ($768.00)
(Pay in full by Feb 1 and get a $25. discount )
Starts the week of May 7. Last delivery is on the week of Oct 22.
The following offerings below are optional and only available to vegetable shareholders. Contact Erin for more info about the optional shares.
Fruit shares
Fruit shareholders will always get as least two items in each fruit share (and sometimes three!), and the value of the fruit share may vary slightly from week to week. This gives a little wiggle room to include as much fruit as possible when it is most abundant.
The Fruit Share will contain, at most points during the season, fresh fruit exclusively. We source the fruit from our member farms, as well as local and regional partners. All fruit is either Certified Organic or raised using the environmentally sensitive IPM (Integrated Pest Management) standard. Occasionally, when production is low, the fruit share includes jams, ciders and fruit butters – all crafted locally.

22 weekly deliveries at $9.66/week ($212.52)
Starts the week of May 28, last delivery is on the week of Oct 22.
Flower shares
The beauty of summer blooms in bright colors and delightful scents. Bouquets are assembled at several LFFC farms using fresh cut flowers. Varieties include, but are not limited to: Echinacea, Zinnia, Celosia, Mexican Sage and Golden Rod. A perfect addition to your living environment. 20 weekly deliveries at $13.80/week ($276), a price drop from last year.
Starts the week of June 11, last delivery is on the week of Oct 22.
Egg shares
New this year: get a dozen Certified-Organic brown eggs every week.
25 weekly deliveries at $4.24/week ($106).
Starts the week of May 7, last delivery is on the week of Oct 22.
Cheese shares
New this year: assorted styles/varieties and may include sheep, goat or cows milk cheeses depending on availability. Share will include 1.5 – 2lbs cheese per month, delivered once a month.
6 monthly deliveries at $26.50/month ($159).
Starts the week of May 21, last delivery is on the week of Oct 15.
Herb shares
The Herb share was created by LFFC member farm Lancaster Farmacy. Similar to CSA, it is a subscription program for individuals and families to purchase a periodic share of the harvest. Herb share members receive local, organic herbs and prepared herbal products every month. The herbs are intended for healing, not cooking.
Note: you get 6 Herb share deliveries, one a month. That’s 6 deliveries at $32.00 each ($192.00). It’s the same total amount as we received in 12 deliveries last year, only the delivery schedule has changed.
