So I have looked all over, and I can’t find any where that says “In the box”….can you advise me exactly how to find it?

Ditto what Maryanne said!

Sorry for the confusion. As part of the web site redesign, I removed the ‘In the Box’ section and transferred that info into the main blog, so you don’t have to look in 2 places - one place (IN THE BOX) for the weekly fruit & veggie list and another (NEWS) for recipes, logistics and reminders, and any anecdotes from farmer Pam.
However, I have since seen the wisdom of having a separate ‘in the box’ section, as a quick review of all the goodies we get week by week. It’s especially helpful for people checking out our CSA (future members). So the IN THE BOX section is back, renamed to BOX.
However, I didn’t take anything away, so you can find the list of weekly fruits and veggies in 2 places: NEWS and BOX.

One more question, about how much food does one get for a share–a grocery bag full, a few bags full? ? Thanks. Rita & Denny

Rita & Denny:
Not sure if you’ve ever seen one of those boxes that paper comes in, but that’s about the side of “the box” of veggies.
I eat very little meat (maybe 1-2 times a week) and buy one share just for me (they suggest 1 share for 2 people) and usually have some extra to share with friends.
I’d say that one box would be more than enough to feed 2 people for 1 week. Especially if you are interested in trying new foods!

Hello,
How much is the share for 2009? I looked on the website and if it is there, couldn’t not find it. My apologies.
Also, do you offer half shares. We are a family of 2. Do you have other small families that would like half shares?
Note: email has the number “1″ not letter “l”
Thank you,
Alicia

Sorry for the late reply. There are still shares. The price is $545 plus $50 for new members. You may split a share but you are responsible for finding a share partner. We don’t keep lists or make matches. Sorry, all volunteer.
Thanks, Vanessa

Some additional information:
The major items that make our products unique are less about the NPK levels and more about the extremely high organic matter content, humic and fulvic acids, 73 nutrients and minerals and the plethora of live microbials present in our Super Stimulant. Now our GroGreen 6-0-0 is 6% nitrogen derived from the L-Lysine Amino acid and offers an excellent way of applying a liquid form of 100% plant available water soluble nitrogen. Our Autumn Assistance
0-0-8 is a great source of potassium and even has 2% sulfur which is a very important growth nutrient. Lastly our Nutrient Nectar 1-1-1 is a excellent food source for the living organisms in the soil and is a source of macro nutrients, even though in small doses. The NN is a tested product with studies proving the efficacy as a disease suppressant. For Ripken Baseball the NN is one of their favorite products as it allows the fields to bounce back after being tarped in about 2-3 days instead of the normal 10-14 days.
Let’s not forget about our Granular Super Stimulant which is the highest form of organic matter in a bag on the planet at between 60-90%. It also contains 3% nitrogen and loads of major nutrients and needed minerals. This granular is also loaded with microbials that the soil needs to thrive.
