Last Thursday night –late- a car full of people drove thru the farm of one of our workers – they threw out – 7 young dogs. The dogs were frantic, running around, chasing the livestock – raising a ruckus. The dogs are all about 1 year old, in good health and really cute.

We are trying to place them in rescue. Every shelter is full. Dogs are coming here tomorrow. As soon as your truck leaves here, we will work on making a pen for them. I have taken food over to the farm. The local animal control won’t take them w/o a ‘surrender fee.’ This family is as much a victim as the young dogs.

I don’t know why folks seem to the think that all farms can absorb all animals ???? That they can just ’dump’ their pets when they are tired of them. You know we have 18 kitty bits of our own, along with 2 dogs – I think there is a hobo mark on our mailbox that announces, “orphans and cripples apply here.” All our pets are rescues/drop-offs and neutered thank you very much. That is the rule! Thank god sis-in-law is a vet If you know of anyone needing a nice young companion dog, let me know – SOOOOON!
