Sandy Spring CSA

If you are passionate about supporting the local food movement that helps independent farmers and the environment, you can volunteer to host a CSA pick up location in 2009.

We are looking for a private location that has an enclosed, sheltered area, e.g. a garage or separate building. Access needs to be easy and navagatible by all age groups, well lit and with ample parking on the street. It is also important to have a person on site from about 11am through 7pm on pick up day (one day a week).

As the site host, you will be asked to be on site for the weekly delivery of produce on Wednesdays, May 13 through Sept 30, 2009 and to maintain signage and other minor administrative tasks.
